Midwest Airlines Finalizes Restructuring Agreements

The company says the agreements are meant to save the troubled airline $20 million annually.

The company says the final agreements were the same as the tentative deals reached in mid-July.

Midwest executives had said they would have to file for Chapter Eleven bankruptcy without concessions from the unions and aircraft lessors.

Senior Vice President Carol Skornicka says with the finalized agreements, the airline can now go forward and obtain new financing.
