A Wisconsin legislator is scheduled for a status hearing in Columbia County Court on Monday.
Representative Jeffrey Wood, an independent from the city of Bloomer, was arrested in December for drunk driving.
Witnesses say Wood smashed into a highway sign, and a state trooper adds he found the lawmaker urinating on the side of the road.
A search of the man's car also turned up two bags of marijuana.
Wood faces four misdemeanor counts.
