A Price County man says he's guilty of murder and attempted murder.
According to online court records, 41-year-old James Lahoud of Phillips entered the pleas during a court appearance Thursday morning.
He pleaded guilty to murder and attempted murder and entered an Alford Plea to a charge of sexual assault. An Alford Plea means a defendant admits prosecutors have enough evidence to convict, but still maintains his innocence. Three other charges were dropped as part of the deal.
LaHoud was arrested for fatally shooting a woman and shooting her 34-year old daughter outside of Prentice last October. The daughter was left with serious facial injuries.
