Sergent Mike Wizner with the Shawano County Sheriff's Department says they received a call of an armed robbery at about 11:30 p.m. Friday at the Lakeside Citgo gas station in the village of Cecil, located 5 miles north of Shawano on STH 22.

Deputies responded and determined the suspect had fled the scene.

The stores owner says the suspect threatened to shoot the female clerk twice with his gun, and argued with her over whether she had actually given him all the money she had.

"My feeling is I want the man apprehended, it's wrong to threaten somebody with a weapon, especially for the minimal amount of money he did get," said store owner Jason Welsing.

Sergent Wizner says the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

Shawano Sheriff's department was assisted by the Shawano Police Department K-9.

The suspect is described as:

-Male adult
-5'4" to 5'8" tall
-Was wearing a dark hat, black sweatshirt with red lettering, shorts and dark sunglasses.
-He has a thin mustache.
