The cuts to the Parks and Recreation budget could result in the elimination of park officials, full time maintenance, several seasonal positions, as well as a number of programs. One of the biggest cuts could come from the park ranger program.
Officials say the quality of services will no doubt suffer, but there is good news.
""The majority of our programs will be offered the ones used by the majority of our citizens those programs we will still have them,"" says department director Bill Duncanson.
City Council will vote on the Park and Rec budget cuts November 25.
