Construction is in the fifth phase of the six-phase project. Crews are working on the first floor of the building and the District Attorney's office says they're feeling the effects. Some in the office have complained of nausea and headaches. Others have also expressed concerns over security.
Project managers say they're making accommodations to try to minimize the distractions, such as working hours beginning at 2pm and ending shortly after midnight. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2005.
