A Wisconsin-based consulting and accounting firm completed the study. The study basically will be a manual for school officials during the next several months.
The study will help identify reduction options and outline the impact of eliminating programs. Between three and six million dollars are potential estimates of future budget reductions.
"The process that we're dealing with in eliminating millions is to make sure we're still delivering to the kids," says Wausau Board of Education president Bill Schofield.
The district will allow the community to discuss proposed cuts in November and December.
