Nineteen year old Meng Ju Wu has been charged with three counts of first-degree intentional homicide for allegedly shooting the men while they slept last month.

The men were found dead of gunshot wounds June 26th in a Verona duplex.

Authorities say the victims were 28-year-old Jason McGuigan, 25-year-old Daniel Swanson and 17-year-old Dustin Wilson.

Verona Police chief Bernie Coughlin says Wu was arrested yesterday in New York City by the FBI, New York Port Authority Police and New York Police.

Coughlin says Wu, originally from Taiwan, is a permanent resident alien attending UW Madison and was associated with the victims. Authorities are unsure if he was trying to flee the country.

Coughlin and Dane County Sheriff Gary Hamblin wouldn't detail a possible motive in the shootings, saying the investigation was ongoing.
Wu is awaiting extradition back to Wisconsin.
