Every student who drops out of the Everest School District counts and that's why they're calling the five who dropped out this year to offer them a new educational opportunity.

Michelle Bahr will be teaching a free evening class to help those students who haven't finished high school. "I'm helping them see that an education is important and you can succeed at this and maybe even instill some lifelong learning," says Bahr.

The program is open to anyone in the DC Everest School District that didn't complete high school from as recently as last school year to as far back as 30 years ago.

The class can currently accept as many as needed. It will probably run on Monday evenings for three hours at a time. The learning is based on the individual's credit needs.
