Corrie Merklein got word Tuesday night that adoption referrals for Chinese babies are back underway. That's after more than a month of delay because no travel was recommended in China.

The first group to go to China for their foreign adoptions now is nine weeks' worth of referrals. They will finally find out which child they can adopt and get their paperwork in order to travel now that the process is re-started.

Corrie and Jim Merklein think they'll be among the next group. She's hopeful they'll get to go to China in the early fall now.
