The Wisconsin State Patrol says three people killed in traffic accident Thursday morning north of Wausau was a family from Tecumseh, Oklahoma.
Roy and Jenny Kato, both 34 along with their son, Joshua, 13 all died in the crash. The couple's 5-year-old daughter sustained non-life threatening injuries.
A 32-year-old Schofield man was also involved in the crash, but was not seriously injured.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says three people have died following an accident Thursday morning on County Road K, northwest of Wausau.
The Marathon County sheriff's officials say a vehicle with four occupants slid across the centerline in the town of Maine about 8:30 a.m. Thursday and struck a second vehicle broadside. Three people in the first vehicle were killed. A fourth passenger and the driver of the second vehicle were taken to Aspirus Wausau hospital.
Reconstruction crews are still at the scene and at this time Highway K between N. 20th Ave and Decator Drive is closed, but is expected to reopen before 1 pm.
Weather is believed to be a factor, however the investigation is still ongoing.
The names of the victims will not be released until their families are notified.
