ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (AP) -- More than two dozen Army reservists from an Ashwaubenon unit will soon be headed for Iraq.

The members of the 353rd Transportation Company will drive trucks in support of fellow troops in Iraq. They'll join the rest of their unit, which is already overseas.

Five years ago the unit received just two weeks notice before shipping out. This time, they had six months warning.

The soldiers are planning to be in Iraq for a year. They left Monday for the 353rd's headquarters in Buffalo, Minnesota. From there, they'll travel to Fort Dix in New Jersey for about six weeks of mobilization training before heading to Iraq.
