A neighbor tells NewsChannel 7 it looks like the child suffered a cut to the head.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on the 700 block of Ridgeland Ave. in Schofield at about 11 Wednesday morning.

Everest Metro police say the three year old boy was standing on a couch by the window when the screen in the window gave out.

The child fell to the ground where their is cement leading to the garage below.

An officer on the scene says the boy was conscience and alert.

He was driven off in the Schofield Ambulance.

To maintain the integrity of your being the finest TV station in the entire area, perhaps you should alert your reporters to the fact that spelling is critical--especially on your website. Words slip through the spell-checker but can be very inaccurate (or inappropriate). Maybe a second pair of eyes are needed. ??
