Fifteen-year-old Josh Gilbert Is an Epilepsy Advocate Speaking Out to U.S. Lawmakers
Josh Gilbert is an ambassador for "Kids Speak Up," a national program giving children with epilepsy a voice to speak out. Gilbert went to Washington D.C. last week and spoke to lawmakers about giving more funding to epilepsy research.

It's estimated that 326,000 children have epilepsy in our country.

"Kids Speak Up" was started by the Epilepsy Foundation and funded by Abbott Labs to give children with the disease a chance to fight for more research.
