Elderly Woman in Critical Condition After Being Struck by Vehicle in Merrill

A 76-year-old woman is in critical condition at Aspirus Wausau Hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Merrill, according to a Merrill Police Department news release.
Police say at approximately 7:50 a.m. Monday, the woman was crossing E. Third Street at N. Center Avenue when she was hit by a vehicle traveling east on E. Third. She was taken by ambulance to Good Samaritan Health Center in Merrill, then airlifted to Aspirus Hospital.
The incident is being investigated by the Merrill Police Department with assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol.

thank you for your prayers - i am her grandaughter and i live quite far away. It is so comforting to know that someone is praying for her. it is still critical so please keep her recovery in your thoughts, as well as peace of mind for the driver of the vehicle.

Im so sorry to hear about the elderly lady who was struck by a car I HOPE SHE WILL BE ALRIGHT MY PRAYERS ARE WITH HER.
