As Seen on Page 2: "The Godfather of Green Bay" Makes its Way to North Central Wisconsin. Part 2
In 2005, the Midwest Independent Film Festival awarded "The Godfather of Green Bay" best comedy. The creator of the movie, Pete Schwaba lived in Marinette, Wisconsin as a child before creating a movie there as an adult. Schwaba wrote, directed and stars in his own slightly romantic comedy and is spending the weekend in North Central Wisconsin to promote it.

Pete Schwaba's character, Joe Keegan, is a standup comedian who leaves L.A. and heads to Wisconsin for his one chance to audition for the Tonight Show scout in his hometown, Pine Lake, Wisconsin. In the process Keegan falls in love with his old teacher Molly Mahoney (Lauren Holly) and encounters countless characters like the Godfather of Green Bay at 'Roctoberfest.'
