Downtown Wausau will be the site of a statewide anti war rally Saturday. And it will also be the site of counter protest designed to show support of our troops overseas.
Local talk show host Pat Snyder has been encouraging listeners to show up for the rally with American Flags.
Wausau police chief Bill Brandimore says they will block off one street of the 400 block.
He says they expect the rally to be peaceful, but they will be prepared for anything.
