Two of four people accused of forcing their way into a couple's home in the town of Easton appeared in court today for their preliminary hearings.

"I find probable cause to hold the defendant over for trial," Marathon County Judge Raymond Thums said at the close of the preliminary hearing for Crystal Baldwin.

Baldwin and another suspect, Toby Thompson, face felony charges for allegedly robbing Al and Mary Shidell at gunpoint.

Thompson waived his right to a preliminary hearing, so Judge Thums ruled that he would automatically be held over for trial.

"At a minimum I believe we will be filing charges of armed robbery," said Marathon County District Attorney Jill Falstad. "And armed burglary. These are 60-year felonies so there may be 120 years potential prison."

A third suspect in the robbery is Christopher Cassidy. He's scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Monday.

Police are still looking for the fourth suspect, 18-year-old Antwan Slater, who police say is considered armed and dangerous.
