Bond has been set at $10,000 for the 57-year-old man charged in connection to the hiding of an elderly woman's corpse in a bathroom for two months.

Alan Bushey is charged with two counts of causing a child mental harm.

A mental competency hearing is scheduled for later in May for 35-year-old Tammy Lewis. She's also charged with obstruction.

Prosecutors say Lewis kept the decaying body of Magdeline Alvina Middlesworth in the bathroom of the Necedah home Lewis shared with her two children.

Prosecutors believe Bushey told Lewis that God would bring Middlesworth back to life.

District attorney Scott Southworth has said Bushey may have been running a cult and defrauding Middlesworth to get money. He says Bushey could eventually face more charges.
