Owners of a Minocqua restaurant that was gutted by flames in December 2007 will need to have the building razed by May 30, according to the Town Board.

It issued the ruling Tuesday night.

If the owners fail to comply, the town says it will have the restaurant destroyed.

A two-year-old boy died in the December 21, 2007 fire.

The cause has not been determined, but officials say it appears to be accidental. The Wisconsin Fire Marshal does not suspect arson.
