CUDAHY, Wis. (AP) -- Police in Cudahy are investigating after a boy turned up with a handgun and bullets in his desk at Lincoln Elementary School

Police say the gun came from the 10-year-old boy's home, and they are investigating who owned it and how it was left in a place where the boy was able to get it.

Another student finally reported that the youngster had the gun in school, and it was found in the desk.

Police questioned the boy after the incident and then released him to his parents.

The Milwaukee County district attorney will review the case for possible charges.
