For military mom Wendy Knoll, spending Christmas without her son Dustin will be extremely difficult. But to compensate for the empty house, she will decorate in red white and blue.
Wendy does feel better knowing her son is safe and happy.
On Thanksgiving she saw Dustin in a report aired on Newschannel 7. It was the first time she had seen him since he left in June.
Wendy has her own copy of the tape now, and every time she misses her son she can just pop in the tape and he's right in her living room.
