Animal Hospital Burglarized for Ketamine
The first time the Community Animal Hospital in Stevens Point was burglarized the owner bought a safe for all his ketamine. Less than two weeks later on Jan. 1 someone broke the back window and stole the safe.
Two days later a security system that was waiting for parts was finally installed. And Dr. Tom Kelble says the hospital will no longer keep a large supply of ketamine on hand.
Ketamine is used in animal surgery, but it is also a popular rave drug and is also used as a date rape drug.
