Icy roads were a factor in at least two fatal accidents in Wisconsin.

In Grant County, a young Cassville woman lost control of her vehicle on a slippery bridge on Highway 61 between Potosi and Dickeyville. The vehicle flipped and slid upside down into a pond, where it was partly submerged.

A sheriff's deputy found the vehicle shortly before midnight. Eighteen-year-old Sara Davidson was pronounced dead at the scene.

In Columbia County, a pickup truck collided with a semi on an icy Highway 16 near Rio about 11 Monday night.

The driver of the pickup was killed. Two others in the pickup and the driver of the semi were injured -- as was a horse being hauled behind the pickup.

In Oconto County Monday night, 19-year-old Jon Kosiorek of Neenah was killed when the car in which he was a passenger left County Highway 'Y' and rolled over. The State Patrol in Wausau is investigating. Troopers didn't know whether slippery roads were a factor in the crash.
