On the one-year anniversary of Sept. 11, the Marshfield community gathered to remember the victims and dedicate a special memorial stone that is now placed in Veteran's Park.
Engraved in the stone is,
September 11th Patriots Day
Lest we forget.
The loss of lives that touched all Americans.
September 11th, 2001
It also reads the time and flight number for each of the four planes that crashed in the terror attacks.
The memorial will serve as a continuous honor to every single victim, life lost on Sept. 11, 2001.
