"Carnival" by Michael Stewart and Bob Merrill is not quite as well known as some other Broadway shows of the time including "Bye Bye Birdie," or "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," but with a lesson in love making the world go round, the timeless musical has delighted audiences since 1961. Starting Thursday, a new production opens at Wausau East High School.
Sunrise 7's Sean Caldwell spoke with cast members Madison Nowak (Rosalie) and Becca Erdman (Lili) for a preview of the show.
"Carnival" opens Thursday, November 14th with performances at the Wausau East High Auditorium through Saturday, November 16th at 7 p.m. and a Sunday, November 17th matinee at 2 p.m.
Tickets cost 6 dollars for adults, 5 dollars for seniors and students while Wausau East students get in free with a valid school ID.
Tickets are only available at the door about a half hour before the show.
