In his write-up for The New York Times, reviewer Ben Brantley classified "Next to Normal" as a "feel everything" musical.
This weekend, central Wisconsin audiences have the chance to feel everything at the Grand Theater in a new production of the 2010 Pulitzer Prize winning musical from Wausau Community Theatre.
Sunrise 7's Sean Caldwell spoke with Michele Schlegel and Mike McKenna who play Diana and Dan Goodman in the show. During the rehearsal process, the cast worked with members of the North Central Health Care Community Corner Clubhouse, which helps adults with mental illness. Clubhouse reps will be on hand after select performances for talk-back sessions with audience members.
