There's sad news in the entertainment world this morning. Shirley Temple Black has died at the age of 85. She's the curly-haired star who everyone adored and known as an iconic figure during The Great Depression. A publicist says Temple died surrounded by her family at her home near San Francisco. A talented singer, dancer and actress, Temple was America's top box-office draw from 1935, the year she turned 7, until 1938. She started dancing at the age of 2 and acting the following year. Temple retired at the age of 21 and later became active in politics. She leaves behind 3 children, a granddaughter and 2 great-granddaughters.

Former Saturday Night Live star Chris Kattan is facing DUI charges. Police say the 43-year old comedian slammed his Mercedes into a maintenance truck in a construction zone early Monday morning in Los Angeles. Kattan was arrested after failing a field sobriety test. He was released on bail a few hours later. No one was injured in the crash.

Fresh off his recent concerts in south Africa, Bruce Springsteen is getting ready to tour the U.S. again. The Boss and the E street band announced they will kick off a 15-date tour beginning in Cincinnati in April. Springsteen says his tour will focus on the markets he didn't get to visit during his 2012 North American tour. Tickets go on sale valentine's day.
