Students Help Clean up School Following Water Main Break

A Kronenwetter school sustained serious damage over the weekend after water main broke damaging several classrooms and prompting a closure during the cleanup process.

Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School Administrator, David Beringer at this time they are unsure was caused the main to break.

School officials think the water main leaked for about five hours. The school was alert by their alarm company.

Although, there is no class this week students returned to school Monday to aid in the cleanup. The water main was in the ceiling and has damaged ceiling tiles, insulation, computers, and desks. The school does have insurance and has already hired a water damage cleanup company for assistance.

Class is expected to return to normal on Monday, Dec. 10.
