Sparta Student's Artwork to be Feature on Google's Homepage Thursday

Google says after 130,000 submissions and millions of votes a drawing by a Wisconsin teen will be featured on site's homepage on Thursday, May 23.

Sabrina Brady, of Sparta, is 2013 U.S. Doodle 4 Google National Winner.

In addition to her artwork being featured on Google, she will receive a $30,000 college scholarship, a Chromebook computer and a $50,000 technology grant for her school.

Google says in their official blog, she will attend Minneapolis College of Art and Design this coming fall, where she will continue her artistic pursuits.

A Wisconsin high school senior is in the running to win Google's drawing contest “Doddle 4 Google”.

The winning design will be featured on the search engine's homepage. The winning artist will receive a $30,000 scholarship, and the artist's school will receive a $50,000 technology grant.

Sabrina Brady is a senior at Sparta High School. She is one of 50 finalist in the contest. Nearly 130,000 entered the national contest.

This year’s theme is “My Best Day Ever.” Sabrina's logo shows the story of when her dad came home following an 18 month deployment in Iraq.
