Families are invited to the Northwoods Children's Museum in Eagle River to help take part in their 15 Anniversary.
The museum will also offer free general admission all day Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Joy Long was the visionary behind the museum and, together with her husband Mike, brought their dream to a reality and served as co-administrators until 2007. The museum is governed by a volunteer board of directors and is currently headed up by Rouleen Gartner who began with the museum over 12 years ago. "It has been so rewarding
to be able to continue the tradition of this great community resource," stated Gartner. "My kids have grown up at and with the museum. There are also many more families I know that can say this."
The NCM serves over 26,000 visitors each year; facilitates field trips for students that may come from over 3 hours away; offers 23 interactive and educational exhibits in a non-threatening environment; and administers programs and events, many free of charge.
