Marshfield H.S. Ranked Among Best in Nation by Newsweek

Newsweek magazine has ranked the 1,000 best high schools in the nation, and Marshfield is among them.

In fact, Marshfield High School outscored all Wisconsin high schools on the list.

Marshfield is ranked 229th, 110 spots better than the next Wisconsin school on the list, Brookfield Central.

The magazine gave Marshfield a score of 0.71. It takes into account things like graduation rate, SAT score average and the percentage of students who are college bound.

Marshfield scored a 98 percent graduation rate and nearly 1900 for the average SAT score.

The number one school in the nation, according to Newsweek, was The Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science in Kentucky.
