Northland Pines School District in Eagle River says class will be extended by a few minutes each day in order to meet the state's graduation requirements due to the number of snow days this year.
Starting Monday, March 25th middle school students need to report to school for first bell at 8:15 a.m. and classes will start at 8:20 a.m. instead of 8:25 a.m. High school students need to report to their classes by 8:20 a.m. and will be dismissed at 3:30 p.m.
Middle school students will have five minutes added to the beginning of their first period. High school students will also begin their day five minutes earlier, their end time will be extended by five minutes, and their passing time between classes will be decreased by two minutes.
Administration says the last day will be Friday, June 7.
