The co-director of the Cyberbullying Research Center was on hand in Loyal Wednesday to help teens understand how misusing technology can cause harm to their peers.
Dr. Justin Patchin, of the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, has co-authored a book focusing on preventing and responding to cyberbullying. Wednesday, he shared that advice to middle and high school students at Loyal.
Dr. Patchin also talked about popular social media websites teens use and tips to make sure they protect their online integrity.
