The American Cancer Society Youth Scholarship Awards Program is designed to provide young cancer patients and survivors assistance pursuing higher education.
A limited number of scholarships will be awarded this year for students enrolled in a college or tech/vocational school. The awards will be paid directly to the institution. Awards will supplement the Fall 2013 semester tuition costs.
The American Cancer Society Youth Scholarship Program Volunteer Review Committee will select scholarship recipients on the basis of their commitment to academic or vocational goals, current financial need, leadership, and community service. Preference will be given to first time scholarship applicants.
