Trial for Suspect in Murder of Wausau Teenager Delayed

Marathon County Judge Patrick Brady has delayed the murder trial of Raul Ponce-Rocha, 23. He's suspected of killing 18-year-old Breanna Schneller in 2009. The ruling was made in a motions hearing this morning. The trial will now begin Jan. 3rd, 2011.

Marathon County has granted a motion by Raul Ponce-Rocha's original attorney to withdraw, which has Marathon County examining whether or not the 22-year-old qualifies for a public defender.

Breanna Schneller's best friends and classmates are keeping her memory alive. She's the D.C. Everest High School senior who was brutally murdered May 2nd in Wausau. They're selling pink, rubber bracelets for $2 each. They're pink because that was Breanna's favorite color.

Rib Mtn. Restaurant Will Donate to Victim's Family

El Tequila Salsa will donate 15 percent of Wednesday's profits to Breanna Schneller's family. Schneller often went to the Rib Mountain bar and restaurant, where her fiance is employed. Also employed there, is Raul Ponce-Rocha, the man in custody in connection to Schneller's death.
