In the sixth day of testimony in the trial of Raul Ponce-Rocha family, friends and co-workers of Ponce-Rocha are called to the stand.

Lazaro Ismael Wanaz-Rocha, Raul’s cousin says he and Raul went to Wisconsin Dells the night Breanna Schneller was murder to visit family. He says Raul didn’t seem nervous or anxious at all during the weekend.

Jorge Andre, a person who used to be friends with Raul Ponce-Rocha and also worked with a man named Sergio, who Raul claims was with him the morning Breanna was murdered takes the stand. Jorge Andre and Sergio Juarez-Guttierez worked at a business called “Polywood” together.

Andre says he saw Sergio at work after Schneller was killed. He notes Sergio then dyed his hair blonde. He says Sergio seemed different and wouldn’t look him in the eye.

Another former co-work of Sergio’s takes the stand. Lucia Pintor-Bailon says she worked with Sergio but hardly saw him because they worked in different areas.

The defense continued calling witnesses this morning with the intent of trying to establish the identity of a man named Sergio.

The defense has a surprise witness who is a friend of Sergio in May 2009. She says shortly after the homicide Sergio’s behavior changed and he left Wausau the third week of May.
