It was the verdict the family of Breanna Schneller had been hoping for, that Raul Ponce-Rocha would be convicted of murdering their little girl.
"We are overly thrilled that justice has been done for her, of course, it's not going to bring our baby back," says Lori Schneller, Breanna's mom.
"It's the bittersweet thing, 20 months ago, this was just something that rocked our world, and we've been having to live with this ever since," says Craig Schneller, Breanna's dad.
"I feel like there's some closure, but it isn't bringing our girl back," says Pat Schneller, Breanna's grandma.
And even though the future will never be the same without Breanna, they'll carry on without the girl who meant so much to them.
"I think it's now the start of climbing up the stairs, finally, to the point where we can move ahead," says Rocky Schneller, Breanna's brother.
Move ahead with only a memory of Breanna's smile.
"I do believe I will see her again," says Lori Schneller.
We asked Breanna's fiance, Sebastian, if he would like to make a statement, but he was too emotional to go on camera.
