The jury heard testimony from 4 expert evidence examiners Monday, 2 from the FBI and 2 from the State Crime Lab.
It was the last witness of the day who provided the most important testimony.
Lisa Misner is a DNA analyst with the Wisconsin State Crime Lab.
While testing several pieces of evidence for DNA, she found a mixture of DNA belonging to the accused killer and the victim.
Misner found a mixture of Schneller's and Ponce Rocha's DNA on several pieces of evidence, including 2 gloves found in the dumpster behind El Tequila Salsa and the plastic bag the gloves were in.
Misner also found traces of Ponce Rocha's DNA on the steam iron, suspected to be used in Schneller's murder.
Perhaps the most important evidence Misner examined were the fingernails belonging to Breanna Schneller.
Under the fingernails on her right hand, Misner found the DNA of Raul Ponce Rocha...and there was no mixture.
Misner testified that Raul Ponce Rocha is the only source of DNA under Schneller's fingernails.
Misner was the last witness the state will call, they plan to rest their case first thing Tuesday morning.
It will then be up to the defense to call it's witnesses and try to prove it's case.
