Day 2 of Testimony in Wausau Murder Trial

The first witness of the day provided new details of Breanna Schneller's murder.

Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Robert Corliss performed the autopsy.

He told the jury, the cause of Schneller's death was by Complex Homicidal Violence.

He described dozens of bruises and lacerations all over Schneller's body, including 14 stab wounds to the back of her neck and several more to her back, chest and jaw.

Schneller's fiance, Sebastian Ramirez also took the stand with tearful testimony.

He and Schneller had been together for about 3 years before her death.

Toward the end of the day, the state called Detective Cord Buckner of the Wausau Police Department to the stand.

Buckner conducted the official police interview with Raul Ponce Rocha, which was played for the jury.

The trial picks back up Friday morning with continued testimony from Detective Buckner about his interview with Ponce Rocha.
