NEW INFO: Man Suspected of Murdering Wausau Teen Ordered to Stand Trial

Police say 18-year old Breanna Schneller was stabbed to death inside her Wausau apartment May 2nd.

Now a judge says there's enough evidence to send 22-year old Raul Ponce-Rocha to trial for her murder.

Three people took the stand at Ponce-Rocha's preliminary hearing today.

They were Breanna's room mate, her fiance and Wausau Police Detective Matt Barnes.

Detective Barnes gave the most substantial testimony.

He described how he collected DNA evidence inside her apartment after the murder.

"There was a blood stain to the top of a soap dispenser and I also observed blood staining on the handles to the faucet to the bathroom sink," said Detective Matt Barnes from the Wausau Police Department.

Judge Patrick Brady decided from the testimonies that a felony has been committed and Ponce-Rocha is fit for trial.

Ponce-Rocha's $1 million cash bond was also determined to still stand.

His arraignment is set for July 15th.
