Wis Ag Exports up 18 Percent to Record High

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin exported a record $2.8 billion in agricultural goods last year.

The state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection says that's an 18 percent increase over the previous year. The state's top agricultural exports include wheat, corn and barley. Its top markets are Canada, Mexico, South Korea, China and Japan.

Wisconsin ranks 16th among states in agricultural exports.
