Strawberry farmers in southwestern Wisconsin say they’re ready to start picking strawberries.
During an interview with WEAU-TV, Jon Jolivette, owner of Jolivette Family Farms in West Salem says the season is starting about 10 days earlier than usual. He also says lack of a spring frost is to credit for larger berries this season.
Jolivette says the strawberry season typically lasts about three weeks.
