Man Killed While Repairing Equipment at Farm Dealership

Authorities in Washington County are investigating the death of a 21-year-old man.

According to, the Jacob Eickstedt was repairing a forage harvester tractor at his place of employment when an attachment dropped down and trapped him underneath. Eickstedt was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.

The accident happened Wednesday morning at Mid-State Equipment in Jackson.
