Lightning to Blame on Oshkosh Barn Fire that Killed 13 Horses

A barn fire that killed 13 horses Thursday morning is said to have been caused by lightning.

According to WisconsinAgConnection.com, the blaze was reported around 4:00 a.m. in the Town of Utica, southwest of Oshkosh.

Thirteen quarter horses were inside the building at the time and did not survive the fire.
