Wisconsin dairy farmers are glad to see temperatures returning to manageable levels.
Dairy cows generally prefer cool weather. So when temperatures hit the 90's, as it did this week, cows tend to not produce as much milk.
Farmers across the state say their cows have seen a dip in milk production and are more susceptible to bacterial infections.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Agriculture Department says they received some reports of heat-related livestock deaths this past week.
