The Wisconsin Valley Fair is making its presence known with sky-high rides and mouth-watering food stands.
But for Marathon Park's biggest summer event, it's all about 4-H.
Hundreds of 4-H kids kicked off the fair Tuesday showing off projects they've poured their hearts and souls into.
"Right here I have pears, like canning goods. And here I have photography. I love photography and I take everything I can.. home environments, arts and crafts," said Beth Brown, who's been in 4-H for as long as she can remember.
Brown says it gives her an opportunity to try new activities and travel to the state fair.
You don't have to be a farm kid to be in 4-H. Anyone can enroll by applying at their local UW-Extension office.
The Wisconsin Valley Fair runs through Sunday.
