Tigerton Shuts Out Thorp

In the WIAA Division 4 semifinals, Tigerton beat Thorp 2-0 to advance to Saturday morning's championship game against Oakfield. Oakfield is the defending state champ.

Jessalyn Krueger had two of the Tigers' 6 hits, and Erin Ortner had a no-hitter thru 5.2 innings until Rachael Zoromski broke it up.

The Cardinals managed just three hits off of Ortner.

The Tigerton-Oakfield championship game begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at UW-Madison's Goodman Diamond.
