Last season, Colby football averaged better than 35 points per game. They needed that, plus 9 more to win the D5 state championship 44-43 in overtime over Lancaster.
When QB Aaron Koerner and running back Michael Ccliver graduated they took with them 38 touchdowns and almost 2,700 yards of offense.
With a big target on their back as a conference and state champ, the Hornets will need some younger players to step up right away.
