Sentencing is expected to take place in mid-July for the Forest County man convicted of killing another man during a hit-and-run accident on New Year's Day 2012.
Late last Friday evening, a jury found Norbert Polar guilty of six of the seven charges he was facing.
Investigators say Polar, 47, drove into 41-year-old Klynt Decorah while he was walking home. The accident happened along Highway 55 in the Town of Nashville.
Polar left the scene but was later arrested.
He faces a maximum sentence of nearly 82 years in prison.
